Valentine day

Valentine lived long years ago, during Claudius Empire. At the time men were called to join the army, but they refused because they had families and Claudius decided to ban marriages. Valentine decided to marry secretly , when Claudius discovered that , he  imprisoned Valentine. In prison he met the daughter of a guard that became his friend, on the day he died Valentine wrote a letter to the Girl signing ''From Your Valentine'' San Valentine is celebrated on 14th February because it's the day when he died.
Today most people use the S.Valentine's day to give gifts and chocolate to boy/girlfriend.
